Not sure if this has been posted before, I think it has, but I could not find it...
Starting next year, the Federal Trade Commission plans to mandate new labels for all lightbulbs, modeled after the nutrition labels on most packaged foods

Finally proof that Watts don't really mean anything anymore. Hey, even the FTC finally got it and they're not know to "turn on a dime" it's a big boat to steer, so this labeling is overdue!
It would have been nice to also have PAR on there... But some info is better than none, so this is nice. I don't know if it would be possible to approximate the PAR output of a bulb by knowing the amount of lumens+color of the light. Humm.....
