Adding the stuff can be tricky, it won't cause problems though.

I go with 5 grams per sq ft, you can make it richer, but not more than cobverage of the bottom, not building up 2 grains deep etc.

Osmocote Plus should never be used in a tank containing Inverts as the amount of Cu is .05% which is a toxic level for some fish and most inverts. For inverts it should not exceed .01%

Its frustrating that Home Depot and OSH close to my place doent not sell Osmocote Plus but only the regular one. (Osmocote). Got to find Lowes and TrueValue garden stores.
