Anubias and Java fern leaves in tank having a lot of black spots. How can I remove it.

Generally a CO2 issue, it has nothing to do with EI.
I've raised and sold more Java fern as a hobbyists than most over the years, Anubias as well.
Neither plant is demanding as far nutrients, but low light and good CO2 make them grow very nicely.

Over one year keeping anubia and java fern, since following Tom advices on CO2, I have no longer to prune leaves because of black spots and I have no issues on them. Just shade them also with floating plants if needed

if, after having a good co2 the fern leaves still black, then increase 5ppm your dose of K.

low CO2 in combination with high light.
