Hi,

My plants are very happy with Seachem EQ. However it doesn't dissolve easily and I suspect that my fish are not very happy about white dust flying in the tank. I even noticed that the fish sometimes scratches immediately after adding the EQ. Also I automated water change and I would like to start dosing GH automatically (our tap water is 0dGH). So I am looking into possibility to replace Seachem EQ with some liquid analogue. I searched through a number of forums and I found a lot of threads on that topic but I couldn't find a single recepie for liquid Seachem EQ replacement. I would really appreciate your help.

Happy New Year!
Mikhail

I'm not sure there's a liquid equivalent of the EQ. Gregs GH Booster is very similar and costs a fraction, but it's still in poweder form.

This is why I premix my change water a day beforehand. Anything I add is well dissolved and the water is at temperature.
