New Dwarf hygro froeground plant!

Here's a 3 gal nano with burnt, then petrified Sequoia rock, with one single species, a dwarf low growing hygro.
This is a very easy plant to grow and tend.

It makes a hedge about 2" tall and can easily be maintained. An 8" tall tank has some issue with trimming and upkeep! So such plants are ideal for tiny tanks.

It's not a picky plant as far as light or dosing etc.
Certainly a winner.

I had good success in abused client tanks, this guy mauled the plants, but namely just from it's size, not due to eating it.

Note, this is a low light tank, no HLD nor collectoritis occuring here, one species.
This way you get to know the plant very well.

A guy on Ebay sells this. Look up aquatic plants and check out the seller Aquadise.com I have bought quite a few plants from him and all arrive healthy and quickly.

tom got that 2nd clump from me and when i got it overseas the guys who sold it to me called it hygro "porto velho" probably because thats where the plant originally comes from however i doubt that thats its real scientific name just something an aquarists gave it for marketing purposes, this used to be a hard plant to get but surprisingly enough its coming more common these days
