Glosso Trimming - 11-28-2007, 08:25 PM

It is a common knowledge that glosso needs to be trimmed when several layers start to overlap each other. But what is the most efficient way to do it? Several methods I've found so far:
  • Cut and pull. Cut and carefully pull topmost runners. Way too troublesome!
  • Checkerboard method. Trim(?) several patches of the glosso lawn, checkerboard style. The idea is to 'clear' some area and allow the growing runners to patch the trimmed area then repeat process.
  • Uproot and replant (start from scratch)

An article on another thread discussed 'trimming-to-the-bones' approach works perfectly for HC. I'm just wondering if it can be applied to glosso too? Thanks!
