Looks like I'll be going with the KH/PH method then, but I've never been one for testing, so I'm liking your method Tom plus in the long run it makes more sense, its about adapting everything to my tank and plants.

Right.. So I'll aim to get the CO2 reading around 30ppm and then fiddle as nessecery.
