Sorry, I am not Tom, but maybe can help...

Go for the drugstore and ask this drugs - TOT'HEMA, Fergon®, Ferralet®, Simron®. The brand sold locally depends on country.
It is impossible that your local Drugstore have no such drugs (cure for anemia etc).
I am using TOTHEMA $5 (20apm.х10ml, Fe=5g/l), French brand long time ago TOTHEMA.
It is all almost pure ferrous gluconate or Iron(II) di-D-gluconate.
There are Cu and Mn but amount is negligible for planted aquarium.
They are cheap and lasts for a long time for a 90cm tank. Use as an additive to your regular micromix if it's not work (hard water-high pH).
Good 911 in case of Fe deficiency, as ADA ECA or Seachem Flourish Iron.
You can also use Dissolvine® D-Fe-11 (11.5%) from Valagro, Italy. It is a strong Fe-DTPA chelate stable up to pH=7.5 and GH=20 for 80%.
BREXIL® Fe is another option. It uses relatively new organic chelate LPCA (ligninpolycarboxylic acid) stable up to pH=12. (I never used it)

See post on TheKrib - Iron gluconate, Gregory Morin, Ph.D., Research Director, Seachem Laboratories, Inc.
