I think the answer to my question is more co2. Did a search but couldn't find anything about leaves turning brown.

My Crypt spiralis is starting to turn light brown on the edges of the leaves. The middle is still green. I am dosing flourish twice a week and the kh ph co2 comes to 24 ppm which I know to most of you means crap. Drop checker is coming.

lights are a little over 2wpg at 10 hours
Co2, from a pretty consistent diy jello using wine yeast (2 three liter bottles), is mixed in a reactor.
Pressurized is down the road since this tank I set up was for a local non profit animal rescue.

just to let you know that is a UGF tube, but it comes from the top so no actual UGF
