Yea, going way back, stay away from the darn thing.
Cost more, has several issues.
Really does not do well on tanks about 50-60 gallons.
Plate and holder corrode rapidly.
Bottom line is that you get better results with the gas tanks, much more available parts, suppliers etc, stick with those.
